How is this different from Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50?
Both Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum and Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50 feature our exclusive Lumira® brightening complex to address the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Our best-selling Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50 is a treatment and SPF combo. It is formulated with all-mineral zinc oxide and titanium dioxide that offer SPF 50 defense from UV damage. It also includes iron oxides which give it a light tint that immediately color corrects brown spots and discoloration for a more even complexion. Iron oxides also provide defense against blue or high energy visible (HEV) light. Due to color and SPF defense, it is ideal for daytime use. Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum has a colorless, lightweight fluid texture. It also includes ingredients that help to smooth skin's texture, increase moisture, and improve moisture retention. Skin barrier health is improved, and skin appears more luminous and youthful. This serum can be used both day and night. Each can be used alone, or together to maximize results.
Can I use ONLY Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50 OR Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum?
Yes, both products include the same concentration of our highly effective, exclusive Lumira® brightening complex. However, using both together enables an additional usage or dose of Lumira in your routine if you are using the serum twice daily with the Clinical Pigment Perfector® once daily. In addition, Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50 provides defense against UVA, UVB, and HEV, all of which can trigger or worsen stubborn discoloration. Using both together allows you to both protect against and correct hyperpigmentation.
Can I use/ How do I use this with Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50 or All Calm® Clinical Redness Corrector?
Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum can be applied AM/PM. In the daytime, apply the serum to cleansed
skin. Follow with a moisturizer, if desired. Then follow with Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50.
For someone who wishes to use Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum to address hyperpigmentation, but
also has redness. Use All Calm Clinical Redness Corrector SPF 50 as part of the AM routine Instead of
Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50.
I use [a non-CS hyperpigmentation product or product type (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, etc)]. Can I also use Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum?
We always recommend a skin patch test before starting a new product to ensure you don't experience any skin reactions, especially If adding to an existing treatment regimen. In our clinical study, participants who were already using other skincare products (including products for hyperpigmentation), felt their results were improved after adding Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum. In addition, these participants did NOT experience adverse events.
How do I layer this with other products?
When layering with other skincare products, start with the lowest viscosity (thinnest, most liquid) product first. You'll find that with the lightweight texture, Even Up® layers well before and after your favourite skincare products. In the evening, or when applying prescription or treatment products, apply those before Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum. After Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum, apply other thicker, more viscous serums, followed by moisturizers, creams/lotions. This applies to both your AM and PM routines.
How long do I need to use this to see results?
Individual results may vary. In our clinical study, participants saw improvements in hyperpigmentation, hydration, or skin texture as early as 2 weeks using Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum twice daily with Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50 once daily, and Total Protection™ Brush-On Shield SPF 50 throughout the day. Consistent use of sunscreen is important to prevent further discoloration and damage from UV and HEV light.
